Yunshang Grassland (Sky Land): Anji's whole mountain, explained

One 1,168 m summit holding six worlds — alpine meadow, 30-ride cliff park, Xianxia town, four mountain hotels, a 300,000 m² ski field and a bamboo night climb. What each one costs you in time, and what we would skip.

Quick answer

Yunshang Grassland (Sky Land) is a six-zone mountain resort at 1,168 m: highland meadow, a 30-ride cliff park, the Xianxia fantasy town, four mountain hotels, a 300,000 m² ski field and an 8 km night climb. Since 16 Oct 2026 the entry ticket is ¥220 adult / ¥90 child, valid three days with unlimited re-entry and including the standard theatre seat; the cable car is separate at ¥140 round trip. Under 1.2 m free. Open 09:00–20:00, last entry 19:00. Allow 6–8 hours. Best months are April–June and September–November; December–March for skiing. About 2 h by car from Shanghai, 1 h from Hangzhou.

The layout

Six zones, one ticket, one mountain

Most visitors treat Yunshang Grassland as a meadow with a view. It is really a small mountain town — and knowing the six zones is the difference between a 3-hour dash and two unhurried days.

01

Highland meadow · 高山草原

Billed as "Zhejiang's New Zealand": open grass on the ridge, Hobbit-style round-door cottages, a train, cloud street, the 100 m rainbow grass slide, the cloud flyer, a rail grass slide and Tongxin Valley's ten kid rides. Flat and stroller-friendly; best before 11:00. In autumn the cottages turn into a pumpkin town — golden fields, gourd-loaded doorsteps, and the county's best family photo stop.

02

Cliff thrill park · 悬崖心跳乐园

Thirty-plus rides bolted to the cliff edge — glass bridge, sky bike, cliff swings, via ferrata and a beginner-friendly bungee. Height and weight limits apply on every one.

03

Xianxia town · 云上仙侠镇

1.8 km of Chinese-fantasy street with 12 staged scenes and 20-plus costumed quest stations. Dead by day, genuinely magical after 18:00 — the reason to stay for sunset.

04

Resort village · 度假村

Four hotels from a 113-room planet-themed lodge on the summit to a 261-room apartment block by the cable car. Staying up here removes the mountain's worst problem: the queue down.

05

Star ski field · 星空滑雪场

300,000 m² of snow, 3.8 km of runs and 102 m of vertical drop — the only place in the region with proper advanced pistes. Season runs roughly December to March.

06

Qixing Valley rafting · 七星谷漂流

Summer white-water run at the foot of the mountain, ticketed separately from the summit pass. Ask us whether the water level suits children on your dates.

What ¥360 all-in covers — and what it doesn't: ¥220 entry (highland meadow, cliff park, Xianxia town, standard theatre seat, Panda Tribe) + ¥140 cable car round trip. In winter the ski pass is a separate ticket, but it already includes boots, skis, poles and the same three summit zones — so a skiing partner and a sightseeing partner both get value from their own ticket. Rafting, VIP theatre seats and the hotels stay separate.
Getting up the mountain

Two cable cars now — pick the right one

The resort runs two independent ropeways at the same fare: the original Shanchuan line and the newer Yucun line. Same price, completely different day — and the difference is exactly what guests get wrong after buying tickets.

Shanchuan cable car · 山川老索道(主入口)

Navigate to: Yunshang Grassland Visitor Centre, Gaojiatang, Shanchuan township

Best for: anyone whose priority is the cliff rides — the top station lands beside the highland meadow and the cliff park, so you walk straight into the action. Also the pick when the group includes grandparents or anyone who should not climb an hour of stairs.

The price you pay: a 40–60 minute mountain-road detour from the Shanghai or Yucun direction, and on weekend afternoons that road jams while the car park overflows.

Yucun cable car · 余村云上索道(新索道)

Navigate to: Yunshang Yucun Visitor Service Centre

Best for: guests staying around Yucun — about fifteen minutes from the village, no mountain road at all, and the top station is Xianxia town, the night-tour start point.

Three rules to know before you buy:

  • Xianxia town → cliff park is a 25–35 minute ridge walk each way — nearly an hour of stairs return. Weak knees, think twice.
  • Last ticket check up the mountain is 17:00. After that the ropeway does not take anyone up.
  • Whatever ropeway takes you up must bring you down. Yucun up, Shanchuan down is not allowed — and the reverse.
The night-ticket trap, the clock and the small print: cheap "night tour only" tickets cover Xianxia town after dark and nothing else — the cliff rides shut at 18:30 sharp and are not included, so never buy the night ticket if the rides are the point. Do the day ticket and ride up mid-afternoon instead: rides 16:00–18:15, the town lights at 18:30, night tour to about 21:00, last cable car down right after. Children 1.2–1.5 m pay child entry (¥90) plus the round-trip cable fare; under 1.2 m enters free but still pays the cable car. Parking at either visitor centre is ¥20 per day, the summit runs 5–8°C cooler than the valley, and weather closes the ropeway without warning — ring the resort on foggy mornings before you drive.

One profile, six numbered zones, two ways up. If you read nothing else on this page, read this map and the walking order under it.

Step 5 is where most days die: people try the cliff park after 15:00, hit the queue, and miss the lantern town entirely. We build the order around the sunset, not the ticket gate.

The three sub-areas, each with its own guide

Xianxia town guide 仙侠镇导览

1.8 km of lantern-lit Chinese-fantasy street: 12 staged scenes, 20-plus costumed quest stations, costume rental on site. Dead by day, genuinely magical after 18:00.

The resort's official hand-drawn map is in their mini-program; we send the HD version on WhatsApp with your booking.

Panda Tribe guide 熊猫部落探险乐园导览

The family zone at the foot of the mountain: climbing nets, soft-play, bamboo slides, panda theming. Included in the entry ticket, free shuttle from the visitor centre, and the rainy-day pick.

Best for under-tens; half a day is plenty. Pairs naturally with a later cable-car slot.

Qixing Valley rafting guide 七星谷漂流导览

Summer white-water run through the gorge at the foot of the mountain, separate from the summit ticket. Boats, paddles and a safety briefing are included; expect to get completely wet.

Opens with the wet season; we check water levels and child height limits before you commit a day to it.

The cliff park: what those 30 rides actually are

Every ride is included in the day ticket, which is why the queue, not the price, is the real constraint. These are the six worth your hour. And autumn is this zone's second act: the forest below the cliff turns colour, the skywalk juts straight into a sea of clouds on the right morning, and the rainbow-decked glass bridge photographs like nothing else in the county.

StructureThe numbersWhat it feels like
Sky Stair · 天空之阶Cantilevers 80.9 m off a 90° cliff — 3.8× the Colorado skywalk. 365 m of transparent deck, 300 m true drop, near-600 m visual dropThe most photographed spot on the mountain. Walk it before 11:00 or the far end is shoulder-to-shoulder.
Crystal Bridge · 水晶廊桥82 m of fully transparent glass between two cliff facesShort, wide and calm — the one cliff structure grandparents and small children can do together.
Cliff Swing Cluster · 悬崖秋千群Eight swings at 1,100 m: a 10 m solo, two 12 m tandems, and the original solo pole raised from 4 m to 6 mThe tandem is the better choice — same view, half the courage needed.
Via ferrata · 飞拉达Steel rungs and cables across the cliff face, harness and guide includedA real hour of climbing rather than a photo stop. Closed in rain or high wind.
Bungee, the gentle version · 窝囊版蹦极Low platform, progressive free-fall, harness checked twiceBuilt for people who want the photo without the terror. Also the shortest queue in the park.
Sky bike · 空中自行车Single-rail cycle track over the valley, three-minute rideLooks terrifying in photos and is over before you decide whether to be scared.

Autumn event · 十仙赐福·云上仙会: in the October–November colour season the cliff park turns into one big nerve test — a Heartbeat Challenge stamp rally across five named rides: gentle bungee, a cliff swing, the via ferrata, Step-by-Step (步步惊心) and the sky bike. Collect any 5 stamps and trade them at the money-house (钱庄) in Xianxia town for the basic immortal gift; any 8 stamps for the advanced one; all 5 ride-stamps also earn the limited-edition fridge magnet at the First Visitor Centre (Beinong) ticket desk. Ten costumed NPCs hide along Xianxia town for bonus interactions — children treat it as a quest game, and it works exactly like one. All inside the day ticket.

Xianxia town, and why it only works after dark

A 1.8 km Chinese-fantasy street along the ridge — 50-plus themed scenes, one around every corner. In daylight it reads as slightly odd set dressing; after 18:00, when the lanterns come on, it becomes the best thing on the mountain for teenagers. The street runs on interaction: in the "classroom snack-stealing contest" (课堂偷吃大赛) an immortal teacher lectures dead-seriously while smuggling snacks, and the audience's job is to catch them the way you never dared at school; blind-box lucky draws sit beside it. More than 100 immersive performances play through the day — small-theatre skits, an immortals' parade, guofeng flash-mobs — and 200-plus costumed NPCs (celestial lords, fairies, jianghu swordsmen) roam the lanes for photos and side-quests. Three flagship shows anchor the season, including Cloud Speaks: The Nine-Coloured Deer and Cloud Speaks: Hobbit. Ask us what is running for your dates.

Mountain cabins and terrace at dusk on Yunshang Grassland, Anji

Cloud Speaks: The Nine-Coloured Deer · 云说·九色鹿

18:00 · one show a night

East China's first high-altitude live-action fantasy show, in trial run since 25 September 2026. The Buddhist nine-coloured deer legend is woven together with Anji's own mountain spirits — the White Tea Fairy, the Bamboo Lord, the Azalea Goddess and Monk Ningyun — on a 360° holographic ring stage with real rain, snow, water and fire effects, AIGC-generated visuals, live actors playing against ACG characters, and drone formations plus fireworks at the finale.

One show a night at 18:00, inside Xianxia town. Seats are pre-blocked, so this is not something you decide at the gate.

A second show, Cloud Speaks: Hobbit · 云说霍比特: elves take over the pumpkin town beside the Hobbit cottages in the daytime hours — gentle, silly, made for family photos, and the answer to "what do we do with a four-year-old at a fantasy show". On event nights the town closes with 夜游仙侠·千灯齐飞: thousands of sky lanterns rising over the ridge, one after another, until the whole valley glows.

Three ways to watch it

SVIPfrom ¥198Front block, plus plaque, seven-coloured-deer plush, fridge magnet, a white-tea tea service and the full glow set. Must be booked at least one day ahead, and comes with the fast-track gate — no queueing.

Booking terms, in plain English

  • Booking ahead — VIP can be taken same-day if seats remain; SVIP has to be booked a day in advance because the perks are prepared per guest.
  • Child rule — Under 1 m free but without a seat, one free child per paying adult. Everyone else pays the same price, child or adult.
  • Refunds — None. Seats are locked in advance and the ticket cannot be refunded or changed once sold — confirm your dates before we book.
  • Weather — Lightning, hail, heavy rain, thick fog or typhoon force a cancellation, sometimes on the day. We watch the forecast and, where we can, book the last night of your stay.
  • Transfer — Valid only for your slot. Cannot be resold or transferred, and passports are checked against the booking.
  • What is not — Rides and opening hours can change without notice; the show is occasionally shortened in trial operation.
Price: VIP from ¥98, SVIP from ¥198 (weekday from-prices; weekends and holidays higher). Standard seat: included in entry.

The meadow is where families actually spend the day

Flat grass, no stairs, and enough rides to keep a seven-year-old busy for four hours. With grandparents and small children, plan this zone and treat the cliff park as optional.

Rainbow grass slide · 彩虹滑草

About 100 m long at a 40° pitch — you are at the bottom in roughly 20 seconds. Ride it before noon; the queue triples after.

Hobbit cottages · 霍比特小镇

Round doors set into the hillside with sheep grazing in front. The photo every guest sends home, and the only zone where sandals are fine.

Tongxin Valley · 童心谷

Ten-plus rides for under-twelves: mini flying cars, a helicopter carousel, a pedal-powered "cheat" coaster, trampolines and a sand beach.

Cloud train & cloud street

A slow land train along the ridge and a short food street. Eat here — the summit restaurants are basic and heaving at 12:00.

Sheep and open grass

The herd wanders free. Keep food out of reach and toddlers at arm's length; the grass falls away sharply even where the paths are flat.

Panda Tribe · 熊猫部落

A family zone inside the pass with climbing nets and soft-play for under-tens. Good rain cover, which matters in June.

Zone 05 · December to March

The only ski field in the region with real advanced runs

Snow holds from December into March, with drifts up to 50 cm at the top. This is not a snow-play corner with two nursery slopes — it is 300,000 m² with a 102 m vertical drop, and it is why Anji fills up in January. The county's own tourism bureau markets the area as the "southern snow town" (南方冰雪小城) — winter skiing is not a side act here, it is one of the four official seasons: flowers in spring, water in summer, stars in autumn, snow in winter.

MetricFigureWhy it matters
Total snow area300,000 m²Big enough that beginners are not dodging experts all day

Freestyle park6,000 m²Kickers and rails for boarders
Gear hallElan skis, Alpina bootsRental quality above the usual Chinese resort standard

The snow field and the summit rides both depend on weather: high wind, freezing rain or thin snow close lifts and rides individually. We check the morning bulletin before we send anyone up.

Ski pass · what is inside the price

One ski pass, three pieces of gear, no surprises at the counter

Most arguments at a Chinese ski resort happen at the gear counter, not on the slope. Here is exactly what the Yunshang Grassland ski pass covers, what it does not, and what the extras cost — the resort's own winter tariff, not a guess.

Skiing on beginner & intermediate runs

All green and blue pistes, served by the magic carpets and chairlifts. This is where 90% of guests stay all day.

Boots, skis and poles

The three-piece rental is inside the pass price — you are not charged again at the gear counter.

Summit sightseeing

The pass also covers the Xianxia fantasy town, the cliff park and the highland meadow, so a non-skiing partner can ride up with you.

Play rides, weather permitting

Sightseeing and outdoor rides open only when wind, rain and ice allow — the resort closes them individually, not the whole mountain.

Not included in the ski pass

  • Advanced runs · 高级雪道 — The two steep pistes are not part of the standard ski pass. Strong skiers buy the advanced upgrade at the ticket office.
  • Children's snow-play park · 儿童嬉雪乐园 — The 22,000 m² sledging and snow-toy zone is ticketed separately from the ski pass.
  • Ski clothing & accessories — Jacket, trousers, helmet, goggles and gloves are rented separately, or bring your own.
  • Lockers — QR-code lockers, rented on the spot and paid by the scan.

Rental prices, item by item

ItemPriceWorth it?
Ski jacket · 滑雪服¥50 / useWater-resistant shell and insulated. The only item most people need.
Ski trousers · 雪裤¥25 / useRented with the jacket; jeans do not survive a morning on snow.
Helmet · 头盔¥25 / useRecommended for children and beginners — and compulsory on the advanced runs.
Goggles · 雪镜¥25 / useWorth it in wind or falling snow; sunglasses work on a clear day.
Gloves · 手套¥25 / useBring your own if you have them — this is the one item everyone regrets renting.
Locker · 储物柜QR code, pay per useScanned and paid at the locker bank; no deposit, no key to lose.

Prices are per item, per use, charged once for the session — not per hour. Gloves, goggles and helmets can be brought from home; the resort does not insist on its own.

Ski deposit is ¥500 per person, taken at the gear counter and refunded in full when the skis, boots and poles come back. Nothing else in the resort works on a deposit — budget it as a hold on your card, not a cost.
The ski field and every outdoor ride are weather-dependent: high wind, freezing rain or thin snow will close individual lifts and rides, sometimes at an hour's notice. We check the resort's morning bulletin and move your day if it looks marginal.
Children: the snow-play park (儿童嬉雪乐园) is ticketed separately and is not part of the ski pass. If your child only wants sledging and snowmen, buy the play-park ticket instead of the ski pass — it is the cheaper day.
Zone 04 · where to sleep up here

Four hotels, four completely different trips

All four sit inside the resort, so you skip the cable-car queue at both ends of the day. Picking the wrong one is the most common thing we fix for guests.

Six places to eat on the mountain

The resort runs everything from a skewer street to a jungle-themed buffet. Prices move with the season and the mini-program lists the current menus — these are the six we actually send people to, with the honest timing note on each.

Cloud Street snacks · 云街

📍 Cloud Street, summit ridge

Quick, cheap, honest: grilled skewers, bamboo-shoot buns, milk tea, roasted sweet potato. This is where the whole mountain eats at 12:00 — go at 11:15 or after 13:30 and you skip the crush.

Anji traditional kitchen · 安吉传统菜

📍 Cloud Street Bldg 3, 2F · Guest reception centre 2F

Sit-down local cooking — bamboo-shoot dishes, mountain greens, free-range chicken. The sensible group lunch when street snacks feel too light.

Rainforest buffet · 热带雨林自助餐厅

📍 1168 Star Observatory hotel, Bldg 1, 2F

Jungle-themed buffet inside the summit hotel, and the widest choice on the mountain. Families with five different appetites do best here; book the dinner sitting with your room.

Resort buffet · 度假村自助餐厅

📍 Buffet centre, floors 2 / 3 / 4F

The workhorse: three floors beside the guest centre, built for several hundred covers at once. Tour groups eat here, so on weekends arrive at opening or the good trays empty out.

Bamboo Grove BBQ Club · 竹林烧烤Club

📍 Squirrel Tribe hotel lawn

Charcoal skewers on the family hotel's lawn while the kids burn off energy around the play equipment. Summer evenings are the point; it is casual to the bone.

Five Trees Japanese · 五棵树日料餐厅

📍 Star Observatory, Bldg 6

Sushi, ramen and donburi for the sixth day in a row of Chinese food. Small, tidy, and by some distance the calmest room on the summit.

Timing rule: the whole summit eats between 12:00 and 13:00. Eat at 11:15, eat at 13:30, or pre-book the buffet — anything else means a 40-minute queue with a tray in your hands. Halal and vegetarian needs: tell us in advance, the buffet kitchen can arrange both with a day's notice.
After dinner

Bars, a book café and two hot springs

The summit does not shut at sunset — the lantern town, the club and the soaking pools are what turn a day trip into a night away.

Star Club · 星空俱乐部

📍 1168 Star Observatory hotel

The summit's late-night option: lounge seating, cocktails, and a dance floor that only fills once the theatre crowd drains out. The reason the summit hotel bar closes at a civilised hour and this one does not.

Cloud Bar · 云吧

📍 Cloud Street

A proper bar on the lantern street — baijiu cocktails, local craft beer, hot rice wine in winter. Sit outside at 19:00 and the whole fantasy town is your backdrop.

Five Trees all-day dining · 五棵树全日制餐厅

📍 Guest reception centre, 1F

The all-day sibling of the Japanese branch: western breakfast, noodles, coffee and cakes from morning to last seating. Where hotel guests end up when the buffet hours do not fit their day.

Mid-mountain book café · 半山书咖

📍 Beside the guest reception centre

Long tables, actual books, big windows and slow coffee — the mountain's designated doing-nothing room. Our default answer for the non-climbing half of a couple.

Cloud hot spring · 云汤

📍 1168 Star Observatory hotel, Bldg 7, 2F

Indoor-outdoor soaking pools on the summit — steam rising over the valley in winter is the single best hour you can buy on this mountain. Book a slot with your room; swimsuits required, tattoos asked about.

Cave hot spring · 洞穴温泉

📍 Mountain Bamboo Retreat (半山隐竹), zone A

Soaking pools set into a grotto-style space halfway up the mountain. Quieter and more atmospheric than the summit baths; the natural pairing with a Bamboo Retreat stay.

All six sit inside the resort and are open to day visitors as well as hotel guests, subject to capacity — the hot springs are the one thing worth reserving before you arrive, especially on winter weekends.

The newest thing here

Climbing it at night

An 8 km night route up the bamboo-forested face, split into a warm-up, a limit-pushing and a challenge line. Felt temperature on the climb averages about 20°C even in August — which is why it has become the summer alternative to the cable car.

Who it suits

Reasonably fit adults and teenagers. This is not a stroll: the challenge line is a genuine climb on unlit forest track, with head torches and a guide.

How we run it

Night slot plus a summit hotel, so you climb up, sleep at 1,168 m and ride the cable car down after breakfast. Doing it in reverse defeats the point.

Getting there

Six ways up the mountain

Every route ends at the visitor centre (游客中心), where a free shuttle runs you to the cable-car station. The mountain is in Shanchuan township — genuinely rural, and the last 20 minutes is a winding hill road.

Driving times are off-peak. On a Saturday in October, add 40 minutes at the Shanghai end and expect the car park to fill by 09:30 — which is the practical argument for a charter with a driver who waits.

Honest tips

Five things we tell every guest

1 · Two hours to avoid

10:30–13:00 at the cable-car base is tour-group hour. Be at the visitor centre by 08:30, or come up after 15:00 and stay for the lantern town.

2 · Bring a jacket, even in July

The top runs 5–8°C cooler than the valley and wind is constant. Guests from Manila and Jakarta consistently underestimate this.

3 · Wear real shoes

The meadow is easy; the cliff paths are not. Sandals are fine for the Hobbit area only.

4 · Everything is already paid for

Entry ¥220 plus the cable car ¥140 covers the summit and all 30-plus rides. You only open your wallet again for food, the theatre upgrade, skiing or rafting. Ignore anyone selling a "ride bundle" at the gate.

5 · Wheelchair & grandparents

The cable car removes almost all stairs, and the meadow loop is flat. The cliff park is optional — you can skip it entirely.

6 · Food up there

Mountain restaurants are basic and busy at 12:00. We pack a picnic from your homestay, or book the theatre-and-dinner combination.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Yunshang Grassland ticket include?

Since 16 October 2026: entry is ¥220 for adults and ¥90 for children, valid three days with unlimited re-entry, and it covers the three summit zones — the highland meadow, all 30-plus cliff rides, Xianxia town and the standard seat at the Jiuse Lu theatre show — plus free entry to the Panda Tribe at the foot. The cable car is a separate ticket: ¥140 round trip for adults (cut from ¥200). Skiing, Qixing Valley rafting, VIP/SVIP theatre seats (¥98/¥198) and the hotels are priced separately.

How long should I plan for Yunshang Grassland?

Six to eight hours for the summit alone, including the cable car. Families with young children should give it a full day and treat the cliff park as optional. If you want the lantern town after dark, stay in one of the four on-mountain hotels rather than trying to catch the last cable car down.

Is it suitable for children and older parents?

Yes, with a plan. The meadow, Hobbit cottages and Tongxin Valley are flat and stroller-friendly, and the cable car removes almost all stairs. The cliff park has height and weight limits on each ride — check at the ride, not at the gate, because limits differ between them. Under 1.2 m enter free.

What if I am afraid of heights?

You can spend a full day on the meadow, in Xianxia town and at the theatre without touching a single cliff ride. Tell your driver in advance and they will route you to the meadow first, so you are not carried past the glass bridge on the way in.

Is there real skiing, and when?

Yes — 300,000 m² of snow, 3.8 km of runs, a 102 m vertical drop and eight pistes including two advanced ones, served by chairlifts and 11 magic carpets. The season runs roughly December to March, with snow depths up to 50 cm at the top. The ski pass is a separate ticket: beginner and intermediate runs, boots, skis and poles, and the same summit zones (Xianxia town, cliff park, highland meadow) are inside it — the two advanced runs and the children's snow-play park are not. Deposit and clothing prices are set out in the ski-pass section below.

What exactly does the ski pass include?

Beginner and intermediate runs, the rental of boots, skis and poles, and the same summit zones as the normal entry ticket — Xianxia town, the cliff park and the highland meadow — so a non-skiing companion can ride up on the same pass. It does not include the two advanced runs, the children's snow-play park, or clothing. A ¥500 per person deposit is taken at the gear counter and refunded in full when the gear comes back; jacket ¥50 per use, trousers/helmet/goggles/gloves ¥25 each, lockers by QR code.

What if the weather closes the snow field?

Lifts and outdoor rides close individually — high wind, freezing rain or thin snow will take out some of them, sometimes at an hour's notice. The resort posts a morning bulletin; we read it before we send anyone up and rearrange the day around it. Ski tickets are refundable at the resort when the field itself is shut.

Can I stay overnight on the mountain?

Four hotels sit inside the resort: the 113-room 1168 Star Observatory on the summit, the 204-room Mountain Bamboo Retreat halfway up, the 102-room Squirrel Tribe for families, and the 261-room Cloud Mountain View beside the cable-car station. Staying overnight is the only practical way to see the town lit up and still make the morning cable car.

How do I get there without a car?

Take the high-speed rail to Anji station, then a 15–30 minute taxi (¥60–90). From Hangzhou East there is a direct shuttle (about 2 h, ¥110); from Shanghai a direct coach (about 4 h, ¥128). Locally, bus 208 goes to Chengzhong station, bus 203 continues to Shanchuan bus station, and the gate is a 521 m walk. Most of our guests take a charter instead — it removes the last-mile problem entirely.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Often yes on weekdays, but July–August weekends and Chinese public holidays sell out, and tickets are passport-linked for foreign visitors. We pre-book for our guests at no extra fee and send the QR code before you arrive.

We pre-book Yunshang Grassland tickets for our guests at no extra fee.

Passport real-name registration, cable-car timing and a driver who knows which gate is quietest — handled before you land.
